The Irvine Cotillion is offered by invitation to children from schools in the Irvine and Costa Mesa area, from Alderwood to Vista Verde, Briarwood to Westpark. Comprised of a 5th Grade class, and a combined 6th, 7th and 8th Grade class, the Irvine Cotillion meets one Monday per month at the Westin South Coast Plaza hotel. Membership is by invitation only and limited to space available.

The Cotillion season comprises various dancing parties emphasizing manners, social graces, self-confidence and basic social dance skills. Included in season membership is the formal Dinner Cotillion with detailed instruction in table manners, dining etiquette, and proper utensil use during a deluxe, full-course meal. Refreshments, games, and various instruction and activities are enjoyed.
