The Palos Verdes Peninsula Cotillion is a traditional, patroness-supported Cotillion offered by invitation only to students in 5th through 8th grade residing in the greater Palos Verdes Peninsula area. Membership is limited by space available.

The Cotillion season comprises various dancing parties emphasizing traditional and modern manners, social graces, and basic social dance skills. Refreshments, games, and various instruction and activities are enjoyed. During the annual Holiday Party, parents are invited to attend and participate with their children. This season includes a Dinner Cotillion party, with detailed instruction in table manners, dining etiquette, and proper utensil use during a deluxe, full-course meal.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Cotillion participation also prepares graduating eighth grade members for acceptance in Palos Verdes Assembly, the high school social and philanthropic organisation culminating with the Presentation Ball.
